Camera Obscura: a darkened box with a convex lens or aperture for projecting the image of an external object onto a screen inside. It is important historically in the development of photography.
we created a shutter by putting a piece of black electric tape over the small opening in the metal. to make an aperture we pierced a piece of sheet metal with a needle.
the focal length was a wide field of vision
I placed my camera on a pole near the flagpole.
the light source was the sun
the image was blurry and i could just barely make out the flagpole in my negative.
The thing that surprised me was how clear the image came out compared to the negative

I placed my camera on the side of my shed facing a tree in my backyard.
I left my camera out for about a week.
The constant rain we had for two days made the image a little dark.
I would leave it out a little longer than a week.
In my first image had a wider field of view and wasn't as zoomed in as the one I took outside of school.
